Thoughts on Pentair Laminars and Lights

See signature for full build details. We demo'ed our old 16x32 vinyl pool but haven't started construction as of June 29, 2022.

We really wanted to do 4x Hayward Laminars+ColorLogic 320's for our pool and stick with Hayward. However, supposedly Hayward laminars have been out of stock for months and we can't get a hold of them. My builder proposed to use Pentair MagicStream Laminars with built-in lights and assured me "there are no issues to sync the lights."

Since we're using Hayward ColorLogic 320's inside the pool and the Hayward OmniLogic, I definitely want to take advantage of the OmniDirect control mode. From all the reading I have done, I can't find supporting documentation to show that the ColorLogic Lights and the LED's built into the Pentair Laminars can be controlled together.

Has anyone attempted this or seen it work?

I have not seen anything to says that Pentair lights can be controlled by Omni Direct and OmniLogic.

I suggest you call Hayward Support and see if they can give you some reassurance that things will work the way you expect.

Does omnilogic control pentair intelli lights

I am rehabbing a pool and the contractor recommended the pentair Led Intellilights. They seem to only work with the Pentair system. He also recommended the aqua rite salt generator. I am looking at adding automation as well. Does the omni logic control the pentair intelli lights?

After some researching, I think I found a few Hayward Laminars from a different supplier so this whole point might be moot.
