Testing for salt

New to using a SWG. What is the recommended method and product. They have chemical tests and electronic meters. Suggestions?

I use and suggest the Taylor K-1766 salt test kit.. I find that it works best with the speed-stir magnetic mixer as I can't count drops, swirl the test tube, and pay attention to the color, all at the same time..

It will last many seasons..
