Hi all. We just wrapped up a resurfacing of our plaster pool with NPT's Tahoe Blue Quartzscapes Reflections. It's hard to capture the extent of the streaking and splotching post water fill up but I have provided some pictures for your review. Are these pronounced streaks and splotches normal? Are they fixable? My fear is that we'll be asked to "give it some time" but from what I read, it seems like these issues will get worse and not better. I've read through multiple forums and our situation seems to be a bit worse than others. Going with Quartz vs colored plaster was supposed to make the surface more uniform. This was an expensive upgrade for us and we are unfortunately not in love with how its turned out. Thanks so much for any feedback you can provide!

That is one of the draw backs of the pretty, darker plaster. It is going to be VERY important that you keep the water balanced to keep it from getting worse. Here are the test kits we use:
