So it won’t work if it thinks the salt level is below 2400? I have a friend who can get me pool supplies at wholesale. Guess I’ll talk to him about a replacement cell.
Is the replacement as simple as screwing in the new cell?
Bummer that I only got 2 years out of it too. In looking at the serial number it looks like it was manufactured in 2015 but it was installed on my pool in 2016.
My manual for the SWG says Hayward but also says Blue Essence. I’ll replace the cell with a genuine Hayward cell. Thank goodness for a friend who can get me one at cost.
With a SWCG, especially in Florida (and were I live, Nevada) going at least 3X your pool volume is a very good idea. See my signature, I am over 6X! A bit of overkill, but, it works great.

Update: I went ahead and got a new cell. I got an OEM Hayward cell but upgraded from the t-5 to the t-9. I also went with the extended life which will give me a four year warranty. Replacement was easy as was changing the cell size on the display. Salt levels are reading correctly now too.
