SWG Output to FC Conversion

Use PoolMath. In your pool, the IC60 run at 100% for 24 hours will add 6.3ppm FC. It would take about 310 oz of 10% LC to achieve the same.

Gary,

SWCG outputs are measured in lbs of Chlorine gas... not liquid...

Marty's calculation is spot on... So based upon that, your SWCG generates the equivalent of 2.4 gallons of 10% liquid chlorine per day at 100%

Marty and Jim, thank you so much for the info. My pool uses about 60 Oz of 10% LC (target 4-5 ppm FC) in the hottest summer months (Jul - Sep) so if my figures are correct I will have no trouble with the IC60 staying up running 9 1/2 hrs per day at 50%. Could even be a little less, since my LC was sitting in a Stenner tank in outdoor temps of 100+ degrees much of the summer time, and could have degraded to who knows what %.

Thanks again,

Gary
