Slaming question

Been slaming(cya 30, chlorine 13ppm, ph 7.3, TA 100) for a 4 days to start the mustard algae process, water is crystal clear(and was at start), no loss overnight. Issue is the cc, I get .5 sometimes and 1.0 other times, little confused about this. DA filter was completely cleaned 2 days into the process(lots of dead algae) so it should be good. My cc testing R 0003 is less than a year old and dpd powder and 871 is brand new. No visible mustard algae for two days, brushing 2x daily. I want to get the algae slam going asap but dont want to start prematurely. I'll get some new 0003 today just in case. Thoughts?

Sounds to me like you are ready to raise FC up to mustard algae level for 24 hours.

Have you been brushing your pool regularly during the SLAM Process?

Question regarding the Yel/Mstard min at 30cya. Does this mean that once you get rid of Mstrd by using the shock level the maintenance level minimum needs to be 4.6 in the future?

That is how I understand it. This helps prevent the recurrence of the mustard algae.
