Hello all, I looked and looked and could not find a answer. So does sequesterants affect my other chemicals?
Specifically jacks magic purple stuff.

And what are the affects of polyquat 60?
Does either it raise or lower. Chlorine, cya, ph,ta,salt, ch?

There are so many pool store potions we can’t generalize an answer.

jacks magic purple stuff is an acid that will lower pH a bit.

polyquat 60 Is an algaecide that has no effect on other chemicals.

Chlorine will break down both of them over time.
