What is the advantage of having 2 test kits, rather than the one K-2005?To follow TFP methods you need either a TF-100 or K2006c and a K1766 (salt test kit).
The TF-100 has more of the reagents we use and is a better value - over the K2006c. Both kits use Taylor reagents.
Check this out - Test Kits Compared
By all means go to TF Testkits and order a Speedstir, best $45 you’ll ever spend!

Do you know the difference between K-2005-SALT, K2006, and the K2006C?Amazon.com : Taylor Technologies K-2006-SALT Test Kit : Gateway

I have the Taylor K2006 and the K1766. I wish I had read more and ordered the K2006C with the larger bottles. The K2006 with salt test wasn’t available at that time.
This is what the manufacture is telling me the K-2005-SALT test kit will measure. Does't this include everything that I need?

YippeeSkippy, can I just whine back at you. It is a waste of my time to read comments from rude people, so please do not ever reply back to me again. Can i just whine that its a waste of time shopping around when we've told you the kit that you need? And the places that you can buy it?
The 2006 kit contains a chlorine tester that goes up to 50ppm and provides both FC and CC, and you end with an exact number value..the 2005 kit does not have that, and the only way to test that kit for chlorine (only TF, not FC/CC) is via color matching and is subjective.
That will get you nowhere FAST! Congratulations on shutting your thread down.please do not ever reply back to me again.
