Rust inside filter

How much of a concern is this rust inside the filter?

Seems to be pretty normal...

Mine has been doing this for about 10 years and never seems to get any better, or any worse.

It does not appear to cause any external rust issues.

Unfortunately, this is very common. I would like to think top tier companies like Pentair and Jandy would have better quality materials and manufacturing methods, but in this area they don't.
