Hi all,

Is there a preferred no drain acid wash from the experts on this forum? Hoping to avoid draining the pool and removing some tough scale the hard way. (Have tried keeping CSI between -0.3 and -0.6 and brushing but no luck. Even a pumice stone didn't have much luck with the stuff I have.)

Any of these that are particularly good? or to be avoided?
Jack's
United Chemical (amount of acid they recommend adding concerns me)
Scaletec (not sure if this is actually a no drain acid wash)

Thank you,

Patrick

Are you planning to do it or have a pool company do it?

We have had quite a few folks here have their plaster damaged by acid washings.
