I've got a Jandy variable speed pump (model VSFHP270DV2A) and iQPUMP01 Interface controller. The app often loses its wireless connection. I've verified the wireless signal strength at the controller location is very strong. The pump randomly stops during its scheduled runtime, then will usually restart at some point. It does this unpredictably to the point that chemical balance is tricky because I need the pump running continuously for some of the chemicals (like the chlorine buffer) to dissolve properly without damaging the pool or plumbing. When I use the app to manually stop the program and start again, the pump still doesn't turn on. It's like the system has a mind of its own. I've also tried power cycling the system (turn off the breaker for 5 minutes, then turn it on), and this still doesn't solve the problem.
My builder (Paragon Pools in North Florida) keeps giving me the runaround, but when they have sent someone out to take a look, the pump was running.
I was wondering if anyone else has had similar problems with their pump and controller, what caused it/what's the problem, and what I need to do or tell my builder, since everything is under warranty.
Thanks!
