Pump run time?

An indoor pool, so no skimming. How do you chlorinate?
Likely can get away with a couple hours a day until you see if you need more.

Brian,

Does your indoor pool get a lot of sunlight? I was under the impression that most indoor pools used Chlorine to sanitize and a UV system to make up for the lack of sunlight.. But I could well be wrong.

I run my IntelliFlo 24/7 because I like to skim all the time and I like the slight water movement you get. I run at about 1200 RPM most of the time and it costs me less than $20 bucks a month.

If you are concerned with the amount of water "Turnovers" you need, we don't believe in that myth.

I suggest that you continue to run 8 hours a day, as that is what you are used to doing. Just run it at 1200 to 1500 RPM and see how that works for you.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Plastic and glass will block UV light so that may not be enough that gets to the pool. Do you find you get very high combined chlorine?
