Since I have opened my pool few days ago, I have noticed :
- no bubble are coming from the 3 jets I have in the steps which are usually filled with bubbles
- the water pressure from my jet seems to be lower, it's a feeling the movement of the water just seems to be at a lower speed than usually
- the gauge is showing 20psi which was the number I had last year
- there is a tiny sound (air leak) when the pump is off and I turn the vari flow valve from on position to another.
- when I look at the skimmer there is clearly a nice flow of water but it's hard to tell if it's more or less than before.

I have cleaned the skimmer and the pump filter.

The orientation of the jet may explain this too, should they all point in the same direction with a slide angle from the wall ?

Tiny noise from the top of the filter

I think you need to find other projects around the house. :whoot:

I won't get the app to watch your video.
When changing the valve you momentarily open all ports, which allows air in and releases some water back to the pool. This can cause a hissing or gurgling noise. As long as it stops when you release the handle, it's fine. Remember to always turn your valve in only one direction.
Returns should break the surface about 2ft out from the wall. So the water from the jets should cause the water in your pool to ripple 2ft away from the side.

So you mean I should only turn the valve clockwise for example no matter if the option I am choosing is fastest to access by going counter clockwise sometimes ?

For the second part of your answer this mean the Jets should slightly point toward to surface of the water ?

This said, tbe spa net are not making bubble anymore. That's a fact.

What is supposed to supply bubbles? Blower? Venturi air vent?

Check for insects or blockage in wherever the air intake is.

Check that you don't have an air control knob someplace around the spa that got turned.

The MPV large O ring takes a set. Turning it one way is believed to prevent it from getting ripped when moved back and forth over one area.

Do that if you want some aeration and forced pH rise.

Ajw nailed it. However, your returns (jets) should not fountain above the surface under those conditions. Ph rise should be minimal, and not a bad thing if you use tablets. You should see a ripple start about 2 feet out and move toward the center of the pool. That's what I was taught and have always done when opening a pool, even municipals and water parks. But I am no water chemistry specialist, just a repair man.

I opened the valve and the valve diverter seal was slightly moved from the normal position. Some sand was also under the seal. Cleaning, adding some Vaseline, putting it back and it works like a charm. There was a very slight leak that was visible only after few hours. No more leak now.
