Hi There,

I'm a new homeowner with a pool, and our pool has 2 return pipes/jets that have no eyeball return fittings and I'm trying to figure out how/if I can attach fittings, and what fittings I can attach.
1 pipe is sticking out of the pool wall, the other is recessed in the wall. Neither have anything threading.
The pipes O.D. is 1", so I would assume the I.D. is 3/4"?

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

Since the pipes are at an angle, there is not much to be done other than to cut that piece that is sticking out back flush so no one gets hurt on it.
While not the greatest thing, there are hundreds of older pools just like that in service with no major issues. Hopefully you have, or will get, a VSP and run it on a low speed as that size plumbing can't accommodate a lot of flow.
These are available, but would need the pipe to be straight out of the wall:
