Pool liner and skimmer stains

Hello,

My pool has a brown stain going around the liner at the water line and on the skimmers and steps. No matter how much I scrub, I cannot get rid of it.

I tested the water and the PH and Free Chlorine looks good. Can someone tell me the cause of of the staining and how to get rid of it?

Very likely to be iron staining. Mine is stained as well and I'm not on well water. Not quite as much though. An ascorbic acid treatment should lift them. Try a sock full of crushed vitamin c tablets on a brown area. It should lift the stain.
