I haven’t measured it since the rebar went in. I did measure some aspect when they were digging. It satisfies.
I did ask for the owner to come over and check out the retaining wall they have setup with rebar. I don’t believe it’s going to be as tall as we had suggested. So want to make sure before they get all crazy with concrete.

Some things happened today. They were at least moderately busy. 70yds of concrete per the PB. Financial advisor is not pleased with me. But you only live once.

Lol. Dang, you’ve been itching for that haven’t you?

I actually bought another TF-100 kit prior to starting so I could see what I’m going up against water wise.
Luckily it’s better than West Texas.

Oh roof shot

Don’t really know how they did it to be honest. It’s been awhile now and we’ve had some rains to help compact it. It will need manual compaction Before the pavers go down.

pool hit a small (non-pool caused) hiccup so we had a delay. Now things are rolling again. So, got a shipment of coping today. Tried to take a pic of it by my house but hdr pics and this forum don’t play well. So you’ll just have to trust me that it’s very close to the color of my house.

oh and the retaining wall is done. It looks like a CMU wall...not too photogenic

Now that is some dirt right there!!! Go back and look at the roof shot to see just how much dirt was needed!

Now tell me this...............did they do it in lifts and compact each lift?
