Pool #2. South Texas. Waterfront property.

BUT you SAID it would be done by xxx
Preach Teach !!! I won’t even agree to do things on the weekend because we get a hurricane between then and now and all plans are canceled. ‘BUT YOU SAAAAAAAAID !!!’ Well sweetie send Mother Nature an email with your displeasure. Instead I will go out of my way to clarify ‘This weekend I would LIKE to XYZ if all goes well’.
With the pool build schedule, cross off the steps not the dates. Kim knows kids for SURE.

@Newdude I BEG the parents of my students to NOT say ANYTHING about plans such as coming to school or picking up.........They will SAY "I MIGHT come eat lunch" ALL the kid hears is "I come eat lunch" Make is a SURPRISE if you do make it instead of a disappointment that I, the teacher, has to listen to all day "but they said!!!"

Mine took 11 months to finish the entire project, I'll say 4 months for yours. :laughblue::eek:
I fully believe that! I’m okay with that timeline. My previous pool felt like it took an eon, mainly because I had my back fence open to a main roadway in Texas’ most dangerous city. This one I’m pretty relaxed on...let them work, and don’t get too wound up. It’s honestly so much less stressful than the previous build so far.

Could be your view has a calming effect on you too!

A little progress update. IFCS appears to be plumbed. I’m unsure on the location of that little gearbox thing. But I’ve asked for further clarification on the plan.

lighting plumbing is going in, returns are going in. Rebar work has begun. The spa shape has changed a bit. See if you can see that.

That “little gear box thing” is in 3 out of your 4 pictures. It’s that black cylinder next to your block wall with the multiple pvc lines running to it :hammer:

Oh I mean I don’t know if I like the location. (It looked very much in the way).

I told Kelly last night and today it moved! It’s on the other side of the kitchen entrance now.

I took today off to fight a speeding ticket, I won! Thank you @Tesla (onboard dashcamera saved the day).

Today’s update. They capped off the IFCS and filled it with water.

I look at all these pictures and keep asking the same questions ..... how is mrcarcrazy going to fit all of us in that pool? Lottery or raffle perhaps? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: That's going to be the envy of pool viewing this summer.

Much the same way Johnny Cash brought that Cadillac home. One at a time.

Got to love a PB that responsive! WOW!

So you were NOT really speeding? Why did they say you were? NICE job!!

Kim:kim:

yeah I’ve Been very pleased with this PB.

Cop tagged a car that was passing me, and out of either incompetence or dishonesty decided I was at fault for his speed reading... I don’t like to assign motive to ones actions. But things he said made me think he assumed I was a tourist...tourists pay fines and move on...he made many poor decisions in the stop. (I’ve had more than a few interactions with police over the years- username checks out)

I need to make the video public on YouTube now that it’s all settled. Have to do that from my computer though.

I sure hope this isn’t where he’s planning to put the equipment. I dropped a text to the owner to see. I’m not feeling this location.

Anyway. Here’s update shots.

Ben, it will be interesting to see what they say. I don't think it's practical at this point to move it. Also, where is your power coming from? Have you had this discussion yet? Does your electrical panel have enough capacity? Are they going to have to add a additional breaker box from your main panel? Are they doing the power connect or someone else? I had to add a 100 amp breaker box to my main power. I had the work done in advance and had the power run to the pump location.

Spoke with him. He explained the idea. Sink the equipment, allow for drainage. Hide it. I’m now okay with the plan.

electrical is likely going to be a second meter. But if we have to we have room to grow in our homes system. I just don’t like the idea of drilling through my concrete houseto get power back out. Gotta call AEP

I guess I'll take a wait and see attitude. But for me, no friggin way would I consider sinking the equipment and provide drainage. Your pool, your build, just my $.02 cents. I may not fully understand what they are planning to do without drawings showing the plan. Is the filter sunken to?

Yeah. Still higher than the surrounding lands, basically level with the lot prior to pool build. Well. Not quite that low. But close.
