Polaris 280 leakage or normal?

If the Polaris 280 is moving well then the leaks are ok.

Leaking from the swivel is not normal.

Leaking from the Pressure Relief Valve is normal if your pump is putting out too much pressure and the valve is regulating it to what will not damage the 280.

The PRV does break and if the 280 is not moving well then try replacing the PRV and see if a new PRV releases less water.

Polaris performing well...i will regulate the pressure on the line.

Do you have recommendation on the swivel replacements? OEM polaris or is there an after market option?

If you want to know for sure, do the test in the instructions, page 7, para 5: Hold the robot just under the surface and count the number of revolutions the wheels make in one minute. If it's 28 to 32, you're good. Under 28, the swivels could be the problem.

In general, reading instructions about the equipment of your pool saves time and money in the long run.
