Ph test very light pink

My ph test is a very light pink, I’m using a Tftest kit, the reagent is good until 10/23,
any help appreciated.

You put 5 drops of reagent in?

Well, I went out to do the test again and this time I gave the reagent bottle a good shake and now I get 7.8ppm, which is what I was expecting, previously I tested twice using five drops but got the light pink result.

Some of these reagents can settle, a good shake can help.
