Pentair SWCG IC40

I'd clean the vial and stirr bar with a tad of dish soap and rinse well with hot water. Also make sure the blue scoop doesn't have residue stuck to it then your heaping scoop isn't really enough. I know this may sound dumb and stupid but someone once didn't know which end of the blue scoop to use, it's the round side ;)

Is your SWCG turned off while you are testing?

DFW is pretty large, are you in the northern ‘burbs by chance?

I am using a separate vial, the one that came with the speedstir a few hours ago. I'll back off testing and go with once an hour?

Should I change my pool pump to gpm and then wait till 16k gallons have circulated?
I don't think this is necessary. Just be consistent.
During the SLAM Process; there is no need to do that. Simply add the chlorine you need to return to SLAM FC level. Test again later such that you do that 3-4 times per day.
I agree. My mind was geared more towards the losses being recorded overnight.

It is set to 1 percent but I can unplug it. Yes I am in the frisco area.
I don’t usually offer to meet people, but I’m actually meeting some buddies in Frisco for happy hour on Saturday.

Are you just trying to double check your testing? I don’t mind doing a quick test with my kit and see how it compares to your results.

That would be awesome but I am supposed to leave for a trip that morning. I can bring a sample of my pool water and meet you around your neck of the woods I am off of 423 and Stonebrook in Frisco. I can meet off of 380 and I assume you are in Prosper.

I also picked up some more r0871 as I blew through the 2oz that came with the tf100.

I can whatsapp if you don't mind sharing your number, or I can setup a webex or teams bridge and share my camera.

I can take pictures of my pool.

Cool, will send you a PM. I'm on the east side near Custer, so a bit far but we may be able to figure something out before your trip. .

Tested again this morning and it's at 13.5 ppm, last night's test was 17.

Here is a picture, are the black spots black algae or pool aggregate?

Shut off pump, take out basket put in a winter plug In the skimmer hole then fill some water with a pail add some bleach but the skimmer basket back in let it soak take a brush and brush well the whole thing and look behind your weir door You may have a lot of nasty's there. Then taking a full pail of water and exchange the skimmer water so you can yake the plug out. Put the basket back in and turn on your pump PERIOD.

I'll be patient with the process, added more chlorine, I scratch on those black marks and it's aggregate
