Pentair IC60 Question

My cell is flashing a green light in CELL area of the STATUS section. The manual says that it is not generating and to inspect the cell.
My question is; inspect the cell for what? It is very clean and registers that it is 20% used.
What is my next step?

The cell sticker is 40020314.
It has not been used constantly. It was a back up.
The Water temp is 73
Salt is 3400 with K-1766.

Verify the salinity another way to be sure.

Increase the salinity to about 3,800 to see if that helps.

Could the flow switch be faulty?

I believe your manufacturing date is 03-2014. So out of warranty.

I think that it's older than 2014. Probably more than 10 years old.

In any case, I would increase the salinity and verify the salinity by at least two different reliable methods.

Yes, kind of strange.....

I just replace the flow switch with no changes.

If the flow light and salt light are green, and the cell light is flashing, I believe it is dead.

Probably a dead cell. Look inside the cell for scale and clean if necessary.

Look for corrosion on the plate edges.

You can possibly get it to work if you're willing to increase the salinity up to about 4,500 ppm.

Verify the salinity two different ways to be sure.
