We just had our stonescapes plaster installed about 2 week ago and I noticed a few imperfections/holes in the deep end.
Is this common. What is the typical fix? Im
Hoping the pool doesn’t need to be drained.
Well, it’s definitely not “normal”. I suspect they will want to wait till the plaster is fully cured, and all plaster dust is gone, before attempting a fix. I would think that some draining will be necessary do to it being in the deep end.
When my pool was first built, I had a couple similar spots that showed up after a few weeks.. They sent a guy out with some kind mask and breathing gear that stayed on the deck.. He fixed it in a few minutes and I have not had any problems since..
Yeah, I saw that. I don't know what type of finish it is. It may be real difficult to get a perfect color match and the patches not showing. The fix may be worse then the way it is.
If the problem is not widespread nor deep I would just accept it that plastering is hand done and has imperfections. Those look like small problems compared to many others.
I agree with Allen............the fix may be worse than the problem. Is it big enough to stub a toe in? If not then I say let it go unless they are rock solid on the fix not showing in any way.
