It's just a Diversion... I've grown to like that movie but Wreck it Ralph has my heart

I love Wreck it Ralph and I used to really like Moana but I'm getting pretty sick of it...I used to like Frozen too but the kids ruined that one for me. I tried to get them to watch something great like, Honey I Shrunk the Kids - but they complained through it so much it wasn't worth the struggle.

Hi, I'm new here and have been reading your thread. We are building a pool in San Diego and deciding on a coping color. What color did you use for your coping? Is it by Pacific Stone? It looks beautiful.

It's from Bellecrete and the color is dark gray in a sand finish with a modern profile. Do you have a build thread? I'd like to check it out [emoji2]

I think Pacific Stone is probably closer to you

Thanks for replying so quickly. I will start a thread tonight or tomorrow. Did you pick your tile/stone and deck already? There are so many choices that it's been frustrating. I'm so glad I came across this site.

Yes, I'm not sure which post number but there's a pic of the tile in my thread. It's NPT arctic ice in a brick pattern for waterline, 1" mother of pearl glass hexagon tile for countertop, and composite wood decking by moisture shield in IPE.

We are back from vacation! Zion was amazing - I'd never been there before. Right outside of Zion is a town called Springdale and there are quite a few gem sellers. Every time we would drive into the park I kept seeing this rock on the side of the road and every time I would tell Mike that would make such a statement light on our bar countertop (not the pool side but the back one by the wall)...Mike and I would make guesses about how expensive it must be since it's still there. Finally on the 4th drive by Mike and I stopped to put our curiosity at rest about how much it was and were happily surprised it was actually less than we'd been guessing. What Mike would tell you is I made him carry it about 25' and up seven steps 8 different times just to weigh it because it was such knee jerk purchase and I'm a cheapskate. In fact we almost drove away without it. I'm so glad we stopped and turned back and bought it. It's so pretty and is going to look amazing on the gray poured in place countertop with a light shining underneath it [emoji7] so special. Sorry for the junk all around it. It's 76.2lbs and I'm not about to move it to get a better background

I was looking at that AWESOME stone and thinking----------ohhhhhhhh she needs to uplight it! How will you do it? I see drilling a hold in the counter to mount a led light in and sit the stone on it. Maybe have a dimmer on it so you can change the mood. Oh and colors......be able to change the color too! LOL

Exactly. The counter will be poured in place so we don't even have to drill it just put the light conduit in before we pour. I like the dimmer idea!

The stools and today Mike finished putting in the electrical conduit and mounted the omnilogic. He had to move the conduit where our solar panels come into the house and a few other things. Maybe he could chime in since electrical work is more his stuff than mine...
