Maybe? Problem is that it will not necessarily stay floating and may not lay flat. I have read of some using the old liner as a ground liner, although maybe that was people using old Intex pools below their new ones.
When they replaced my liner, the old one was brittle and had the sand and algae stuck on the bottom.
It wasn't pretty.
Nothing I wanted to ever see again, least of all to get into contact with my nice, new and clean water!!
Have you watched the videos of the tests yet? If not do so. They are easy but is sure helps to have it right in front of you to see to make sure.
FC-if you let this test sit after getting it clear it might turn pink again. Just ignore it.
pH-I like to do this one under a bright light with a white plate behind it to help me make the color match.
CYA-GLANCE only for the dot. Do NOT look for it. Pour to the first line (100) GLANCE in . If you see the dot pour to the next line. Keep going until you don't see the dot at a GLANCE.
