Old Heater Gas Conversion

Good Morning:
Has anyone successfully converted an older Jandy Lite 2 (2008) from propane to natural gas? If so what parts are needed. Thank you.

You should just need the correct size orifice to swap out in the burner. I can’t imagine a pool heater being any different than any other type of gas appliance.

16 years is pretty old for a heater.

I would not buy and renovate a 16 year old heater.

What exact model do you have?

Did you buy this used?

Did you have the unit professionally inspected before buying it?

Can you show the heater and the label?

A 16 year old heater would have to be in excellent condition before one should even try.
Different main valve (+/- $150.00), different pilot burner ($100.00 and up), different burner orifices (about $15.00/@), different Honeywell ignition control (though you can use the one for propane). It will lock out after 3 tries with failed ignition requiring a power-off reset.
