The last two times I lowered my pool with MA to a OH of 7.2 or 7.3 within 3 days it heads up to 7.6, and it stays at 7.6 or 7.7 for two weeks, does that mean I should only lower my PH to 7.6?
That is AWESOME. If your pH is stable in the 7s, no need to do anything with it. Congrats. When it gets to 8 or higher, then reduce to 7.6 and leave it alone.it stays at 7.6 or 7.7 for two week
So even 7.8 is not a problem? That is AWESOME. If your pH is stable in the 7s, no need to do anything with it. Congrats. When it gets to 8 or higher, then reduce to 7.6 and leave it alone.
Nope. Be on the lookout for it to go further, but if that takes 2 weeks, woohoo. So even 7.8 is not a problem?
What do you mean?I am a bit surprised the black algae on the grout lines get no mention
Those black lines in your grout appear to be black algae. Hard to get rid of. I would start a campaign to get rid of it and then address your other algae issues when the black algae is gone........the treatments are different.
I read it, hence my question, what to do if the black algae is above the water line? So I just scrub with a trichlor puck, or should I raise my water level real highHere’s some good info

After each application, empty the spray bottle into the pool and thoroughly rinse the bottle and pump sprayer with pool water as the bleach will eventually deteriorate the rubber parts of the sprayer.
They honestly don’t exist much- mainly because it’s not conducive to the “check the pool once a week” method that pool services use.Looking (for a friend) for a TFP method pool person, how do I find one locally?
Thanks!
DittoCan confirm. Am own pool person. It's easy peasy.![]()
You're supposed to enlighten said friend how easy it can be and they can be their own pool person.I'm just not willing to be other people pool person![]()
