Lol, yeah lots o pipes in there. You are seeing a combination of back jets, calf jets and lights. Here is a layout of what we are going after.
- The black triangles indicate where the back / calf jets will go.
- The semicircle with the dot in the middle is a very small light (Pal Mini. Think 1-2 amps) which will gently light up the step in front of it.
- The semi-circle without a dot in it indicates a Pentair Intellibright which is 12 amps.
- The "G" lights are a Pal perimiter led strip lighting.
Yes, this is a lot of lights! But I figured we can always turn them off/down if it is too much. But we can't add them in later.
And yes there are going to be a ton of pumps to power all those (and everything else in our pool). We have two separate areas for equipment rooms which will house everything (one under our house and the other in a vault adjacent to the pool on the other side.
Good question on if the jets will be hooked up to a special therapy jet or not. I have to ask our pool builder about that. Did you have any in mind that you liked?
The spa was also designed with a bunch of steps to make it easier to walk in as well as several bench heights to accommodate different seating depth preferences.
