I got plastered two weeks ago and my CH is staying around 150. Should I be concerned? I know that in Arizona it will rise over time but I'm wondering if being low now will cause any issues with the fresh plaster.

My PoolMath logs are in my profile.

For the first month we like to see a CSI closer to neutral or even slightly positive. You can confirm with your builder, but I would recommend letting the pH rise a bit more. Let it ride up to 7.8 and that should help quite a bit. I'd hate to see you add calcium when it's going to skyrocket later this year.

Stop using the pucks. They are acidic and keeping your pH too low. Do as Pat said, let the pH rise.

That is all great. Just realize the low CSI is pulling calcium from your pool finish.
