Pool was here when we bought the house and it get constant use the two months a year it's nice enough to be in the water. Over the years I've re-tiled the scum-line tiles twice due to pop-offs. I replaced the pump last year. We do all winterizing, opening and maintenance work ourselves. Learn as we go. It's interesting but the $$$$$$$$ if you make a mistake can be a bit stressful.
