Hello. Dig day!

What do you all think of adding an additional light to the deep end?

Builder wants another $1600.

Will add details on the build when I get more time.

Here’s another way to illuminate the pool and still have your lights shining away from the house. Just had a question on whats in the corner of the shallow end of the pool , is it a step or a seat or something else?

Thanks for the additional idea.

They started and finished digging. The pool designer said today he was thinking of making a change and moving the light to the end section. Then I asked about just adding another light instead of moving. Of course at additional cost.

These Hayward’s are cheap. $1600. Seem reasonable ?

He said he had to know since they were digging for the niche area. They ended up digging both.

If I do go with two. They will need to be placed at your location recommendations.

Glad you discussed it with your builder and the two of you are on the same page, still have a question about the area pointed out in the corner, just curious. As far as the price of the light can’t really comment without more information on the light and if that also includes labor and the transformer, etc.

So you are going to have 4 steps into the shallow end? It will need to be at the exact elevation or your tile line will have to be cut above the step. I have included a few pictures of it at the proper elevation to allow a full row of tile above the step.
