Jan. 28th - Dig
Jan. 29th - Steel and plumbing "stub-out"
Jan. 30th - Gunite and “DONT TOUCH THE POOL KIDS!”
Jan. 31st - early clean up, you can touch it now, began digging and laying some pipe
Feb. 1st - Plumbing, gas lines, conduit
Feb. 3rd - Most boring Super Bowl ever, glad I was working.
Feb. 4th - 6th - Coping/Stone/Tile
Feb. 12th - 13th - Clean-up/Deck-Prep
Feb. 16th - Deck concrete poured
***Rain***
Feb. 25th - Plaster
Feb. 26th - Fill
Feb. 28th - March 1st - Deck Paver..."inserts"?
I still don't know what to call them? Maybe mini-paths? But paver guy did great. When he showed up and PB was showing him all the cuts he had to make and bring them up to level with concrete he looked overwhelmed and maybe confused. Turns out maybe he was just tired that day because he seemed to know what he was doing! All they need to do, on a dry day, is add polymeric sand to fill in the gaps.
Items to go...
-Pavers
-Spray Deck
-Safety Fence
-Fire Bowls
-Move more dirt (my job, and getting old quick because of mushy yard). Finally went to a section of neighborhood where houses are being built and got some scrap wood to make a path to balance the wheel-barrow on. So much easier
-Jumping rock (why do I feel like this is going to get skipped haha, not in our contract but PB said he'd do it)
-Brush every day
-Keep testing water
Side note...anyone know what kind of tree/shrub this is?! Saw it at Pappasito's, they have awesome landscaping. I don't think it's a crape myrtle, at least not one I'm familiar with.
