Concrete deck installed, grout installed, new gas line trenches, stucco columns finished, electrical done, my DIY complete audio system cables ran (1500 feet).

Enjoy, hopefully Plaster on Sunday pool filling Monday, and Turf and Mexican beach pebbles Tuesday.Screenshot_20230623_215730_Photos.jpg20230623_215827.jpg20230623_215848.jpg20230623_215919.jpgScreenshot_20230623_215219_Photos.jpgScreenshot_20230623_215448_Gallery.jpg

Thanks that's what I was wondering, hoping they finish everything by the end of the week. That's when the real work starts to take off

I am still finishing it up but while the deck was being formed I ran some CL3 cable for my speakers and ran some extra strands behind the spa and the water feature. And ran it over to the pool breakers where I am going to add a relay and add it to my lighting group.

I bought the LED rope light off of amazon, AILBTON Led Neon Rope Lights with gorilla glue construction adhesive. I installed the clips first, let it cure for 24 hours and then installed the rope light, after the rope light I ran a bead of gorilla glue to the entire strip.

I am going to run 110v to the spot and then heat shrink and weather proof the connections, once I finish this I'll send some pictures. I also purchased some led splice and extend kits and white heat shrink. I also plan to add a light bar to my water feature using the same material.

Now is also a good time to ask what test kit your PB will be providing so we can fill in any holes.

Hi Kim,

The PB gave me the Pentair test kit. Is that a good test kit or should I order the one you recommend.

Also for initial start up I can't put salt in the pool yet but will once curing is finished. How should I chlroniate my pool in the interim?

the Pentair test kit.
Which one. There are many. You need one that does all of the tests AND the chlorine one goes past a reading of 5.
How should I chlorinate my pool in the interim?
Liquid chlorine. You can buy it at a local pool store (don't buy anything else there except pool toys LOL). Wal mart, Lowes, Home Depot also sell. Just make sure to check the date code on the bottle as you don't want it to be older than 3 months as it does degrade over time especially in the heat.
