Plumbing
All plumbing is schedule 40 PVC per code
Skimmers plumbed independently with 2 1/2" suction plumbing
Anti-entrapment main drains plumbed with separate 2"line
This is all good Appears to be 2 skimmers with independent lines to the equipment pad.
Ensure all PVC is hard pipe - not flexible PVC.

Equipment
Pentair SVRS Energy Efficient Variable Speed Pump
Pentair 520 Cartridge Filter
Pentair LED lights
Pentair EZ Touch 4 controller with screenlogic phone app
Pentair 400 BTU Heater (with spa purchase)
Pentair 1.5hp blower (with spa purchase)
(6) Waterway jets (with spa purchase)
Obtain model numbers of each piece.
Do NOT get SVRS on the Pentair pump. That causes problems in operation. In fact, I thought Pentair stopped making them.
The large Cartridge filter is great.

Need to know what type of LED lights. Do not get GlobeBrites.

The EZ Touch automation is good, but decade old technology. Many still use it so don't get discouraged. Pentair has the newer IntelliCenter but obviously costs more, which is why PB do not quote it. Also, if you have a pool only (no spa) and no water features, the IntelliCenter could be an overkill but it would be more expandable in the future if needed.
You can review this forum for more information.

There is no mention about how the pool will be sanitized. Have you considered a saltwater pool?

Under Plumbing pipe it says
chlorinator Saltwater only

Step,

Do NOT get the SVRS version of the IntelliFlo pump. The standard IntelliFlo is the gold standard of pool pumps. The SVRS version is the BROWN version.

I know because I have one. Your pool builder will tell you it is a requirement, but it is not. It is an old pump that he is just trying to get rid of...

I suspect the EasyTouch 4 with ScreenLogic is a 'lite' version and that is another thing you do NOT want. The lite version is just like lite salad dressing that no one can eat.

Get a real EasyTouch that comes with a built-in SWCG power center and an IC40 salt cell in one package. Or get the new IntelliCenter with Built in SWCG power center and salt cell.

Tell the pool builder you need actual Part Numbers of the equipment so we can confirm that you are getting good equipment.

Thanks,

Jim R.

This was all very helpful TY Jim!!

TY for all the links and advice Carlos! I read a few of them already, but honestly so much of this is like a foreign langue I don't quite understand yet so all the reading I can do ahead of time helps.
Come back with any questions. Suggest you obtain 3 bids to ensure you are getting best pricing
