Hey everyone, found this forum trying to solve my problem with my pool so first time posting. I’m not sure if this is black algae or what but I cannot get it off by scrubbing. I’ve shocked the pool several times trying to break it up and doesn’t help. This all started when my board went out on my aquarite 900. By the time I figured out the board went & needed to be replaced the pool was full of algae. Got it cleaned up and this started forming. I’ve even dove down in and scrubbed with a hand brush and can’t get them. From outside of the water they look blackish brown. From in the water with goggles they are black & yellowish. Pool supply company isn’t much help here just it might be, you can try this & that. I’ve attached some pics…. just hoping someone has dealt with this before and can point me in the right direction.
