MA - Yellow Color

My most recent muriatic acid was bright yellow (yellow gatorade color) not clear like usual. It was HDX brand, though I’ve gotten HDX and its been clear before.

Any difference between types of MA? The yellow seemed to work fine (and certainly smelled as bad).

Depending on the source of the MA and time of bottling, some can have varying tints of yellow. This is presumed to be lingering contaminants (probably iron content) during the item's processing. Should be nothing to worry about though.

I use the full strength HDX -- it is yellow.
