Looking at Salt water Chrorine

Mike,

It may be just me, but I have no clue what you are asking???

There is nothing in the salt cells that changes the pH of the pool water..

Someone that uses tablets, that switches to salt water system, will see their pH go up, but mainly because tablets contain acid that keeps the pH low.. When you quit using tablets, you have to start using a little Muriatic Acid (MA) to keep the pH in check.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Ditto to what Jim said.

A salt water chlorine generator does just that, it generates chlorine to kill the bad stuff in your pool.

To manage the pH, you have to use other products like muratic acid, just like you would in a non-salt water pool.
