So work in a hotel that has the AquaRite® Flo Salt Chlorinator. It indicates a single yellow light when all the others are blue, as shown in the attached picture. I doesn't produce chlorine. I can't find an explanation for it in the manual or the wider internet so I am asking anyone for help.

- Check the salt level with a salt test kit like the Taylor K-1766
- Pull off the cell and examine the plates for scale
- Check the water temperature is above 60F
- Replace the cell
Thanks for the prompt answer ajw22. We misunderstood the manual then, we thought that all the lights turning yellow not just one, was a warning.
The cell is a 1+-year-old now. The water temperature is OK, and the salt level is OK.
The cell was encrusted with scale and my colleague in the second shift used Muriatic acid to clean it. He found a video on YouTube and I don't know if that was the right thing to do. Anyway, after the cleaning, two more yellow lights lit up. So I am guessing that the cell is dead and we will have to replace it.

If at all possible, DO NOT use acid to clean the cell. A good rinse with higher pressure water, a small narrow piece of wood to remove anything that might be attached. Muriatic acid removes the very expensive metals on the cell that allow it to generate chlorine.
