They are doing a decent job with the corners. It’s not perfect but I know it is difficult without having corner stone pieces.

I need to make a decision today on the quartzscape color. I thought I wanted darker but we just went to a resort about 1.5 hours from where we live and the pool had a darker finish and it was so hot! I didn’t care for the color of the water other. Our pool is going to have no shade. I’m thinking an aqua color would work but not sure. HELP!

If you think the dark was warmer and you don’t like the water color...you just made your decision. Both are beautiful pools...
I wanted to chime in here - The darker the color the warmer it will be. I'm glad you went to visit a pool in your area with a dark finish. I'm must further north from you but will be looking at lighter colors. Enjoy!
I'm all for placing "marker" tiles on the steps. Makes it easier to see. I like the small triangles spaced out and not the long line of tiles outlining the entire step. Just my design thoughts 
WOW - I really like the color of the Glass tiles with your plaster color. I bet it will be a very rich turquoise water color when filled.

Now don't get worried if the water looks a little green in the beginning. This is normal and will settle out as the water is balanced and the plaster cures.

It’s a ledger stone. I don’t remember the name. Just google ledger stone and you will see several color variations. The pavilion side is bar height.
Almost 5 months from when they started excavation and we now have water! Yay!!! Two of the sheers are having a problem and of course the water is cloudy but overall I am pleased.

The sheers-use the end of a paperclip and see if there is anything in them. Go slow and gentle.

Our shears got little pebbles in them. You can sweep them out with a very thin objet, like kim says- a paperclip. Whenever there was a break in the water in the shear I know something was stuck....
