Whenever the pool shuts off and then turns on the power pack resets the chlorination to 100% from whatever it was set to before. I changed the battery in the unit and it didn't change anything. The firmware version is C1. One thing I noticed is if I changed the chlorination % and the turned off the power pack by holding the power button down and then turning it back on it would stay at what i changed it to, but as soon as the pump turned off it would reset back to 100%. Any idea what could be causing this problem?

If it is connected to an external controller, then the external controller can override the onboard settings.

Can you change the setting and hit Select?
If not, maybe the ribbon cables are not connected securely.
Check the ribbon cables, but be super careful because the cables are very short connecting the front panel to the circuit board, so you have to limit how far you pull the front panel away from the unit.

The cables from what I can tell are secure. I changed the setting and hit the select button(also held it down on another attempt) and still getting the same result after shutting down the pump and restarting it.
Try disconnecting the RS-485 communication wire.

Is your "pool shutting off" removing power from the JEP-R, VS pump, and TruClear?
