Jandy Aqualink Spillover Setting

See what you get on the SUCTION socket for the same test.

On “RETURN” :

In SPA FILL MODE
Red and black: 27
Red and white: 3.9

In POOL MODE
red and black: 27
Red and white: 3.

See what you get on the SUCTION socket for the same test.
I got a spark and now the whole thing turned off. Mistakenly had my lead touch red and black at the same time. You warned me. I tried switching the breaker from on to off and back to on but nothing. Is it toast?

Fuse replaced.

INTAKE

SPA MODE:

Black and red: 1.3

Red and white: 1.95

POOL MODE

Black and red: 27

Red and white: 2.0

Recheck the SPA mode check. You did not have good voltage on either wire or you fat fingered the results.

I wrote below and then went back and saw the SPA Mode test result is not correct.

Look at the difference in your test results.

The voltage moves between the black and the white wires on your suction valve socket when you change modes.

On your return valve socket the voltage does not change wires when you change modes.

Unfortunately that means a relay on the board went bad. I don't know anyone who repair the Jandy boards. I think you will need to replace the PCB.

@PoolGate @MSchutzer any ideas other then board replacement?

INTAKE
SPA MODE:
Black and red: 1.5
Red and white: 2.7

POOL MODE
Black and red: 26.9
Red and white: 2.4

RETURN
SPA MODE
black and red: 26.9
Red and white: 2.1

POOL MODE
black and red: 26.9

Red and white: 2.2

I see what you mean. On RETURN the voltages are identical between spa mode and pool mode. On INTAKE, they’re clearly different.

It may be operator error. I've re-checked three times in the following way:
turn off breaker, remove INTAKE plastic connector
turn on breaker
Service mode-->Pool Mode
black lead to black (from above diagram) red lead to red (from above diagram): 26.9
red lead to red (From your diagram) black lead to white (from above diagram): 2.4

SPA MODE
black lead to black (from above diagram) red lead to red (from above diagram): 1.5
red lead to red (from above diagram and black lead to white (from above diagram): 1.0

Am I doing something wrong?

Why are you going into SERVICE mode?

Stay in AUTO and toggle SPA on or off

To clarify,
When I switch between Pool mode and Spa Mode only the INTAKE actuator functions. The RETURN actuator has no response.
when I plug the RETURN actuator into the INTAKE connector, the RETURN actuator acts as expected and cycles properly from Pool mode and Spa mode.
When I plug the INTAKE actuator into the RETURN connect, the INTAKE actuator does not move.

That all says there is something wrong with your board and Jandy boards are not repairable.

Do you have iAqualink?

If not, you should get the iAqualink IQ30-RS upgrade which gives you a new board and the iAqualink Wifi antenna.

And the Leslie link says it has Rev QQ. You want the latest firmware which I think is Y or Yg.

Thanks for sending the link.
Will it still be compatible with my console in the house. Pictured below.

Yes, the latest version will work with your All Button Control Panel. Although any new features, and there are many in the latest version, may not be accessible from your old control panel.

What Rev level is your current board?

I think the pool was built around 2000.
Maybe Rev I or Rev G (?)
