Sigh, I checked the tile and it's like they didn't mix the boxes. All the lights are together and then the darks.
How does this happen?!

Not sure. I can't decide if this will bug me later or if it will blend in enough. I got a very subtle tile. I could use this to bargain cheaper upgraded decking

I see what you mean. I guess you're going to have to decide how much it bothers you. Do you have an overall shot? I would probably have them redo it, but that's just me. What does your PB say?
I'll take an overall pic later. Haven't really talked to PB yet. Sent email but haven't heard. To be honest I can't recall my in laws pool tile. So I wonder if this would bother me. Here is a pic of upgraded deck I could bargain for
Hmm... That tile seems like an install issue. Have to decide if you can live with it.
First I would say that the tile would bug me but I am overly anal. Second I don't know if you'll get the PB to throw in the deck. Because he is just going to pass the mistake onto the tile company and they will have to eat it. The person paying for the deck isn't the person paying to fix the tile. Know what I mean?

The tile company said "that isn't right and to have it fixed". Glad they see the issue too. So now I have to go home and tell them what tile goes where. I'm annoyed to say the least. It comes in a series, put it in that series!
You shouldn't have to tell them how to blend the tile properly. That is the tricks of the trade so to speak. You shouldn't have to tell someone putting in flagstone to mix the lights and dark. A good mason will mix it so it is blended and not put all the same color stones together. Geeze.
Exactly my point! And I hired a PB to do this for me. I'm not doing OB for a reason. I run my own business and have to be at work. I'm so frustrated.

I'm at my wits end with this. Just hoping it blends in with the coping and not noticeable. Which it probably won't be with the pebble finish and the raised beam. It will melt away im sure

Is it always that you have to make a fuss to get things done correctly?
What happened to pride in workmanship? I've been pretty disappointed in the quality of some of the work I've seen. I'm not one to really say much, but...as much money as this costs, you would think there would be some internal quality control.
