Hello everyone. Need some advice on installing our pool. We have the largest rectangular XTR Intex pool with the U shaped legs. For our pool area we leveled the ground and then put those really thick and heavy rubber stall mats down made for horses. Under the mats is compared Georgia clay dirt. No sand at all.
I don't know what to do about supporting the legs. Manual says to use treated wood under the legs but if I do that, I'll have to cut holes in all the rubber mats to put the wood in so it's flush with the top of the mat.
I'm curious if I need the wood at all since I am on these this rubber mats.
I'm really not sure what to do here. I don't want to cut up all these mats where the legs land, but putting lumber on the mats would probably be too high.
