When I first connected it or if I dis-assemble reconnect the flow rate is really good. After time the flow seems to be more of a trickle. Not sure but the SWG seems to create a bunch of air bubbles within its clear tube and I noticed that some seems to get trapped within the discharge line as well as the tube itself. I would have assumed that the pump would have been able to push the small amount of air through the system? The pressure gauge for what ever it is worth remains in the green so I am hoping that there is no blockage. I am planning on getting the largest pump Intex makes but was hoping the one that came with the pool would at least carry me through the first year. Not to mention pool products in general are hard to come by and price gouging seems to be running rampant with up to the prices being upwards of 300x the MSRP. Walmart seems to be the only company were prices are "more normal".

TIA

Often times low flow is related to a filter that is overwhelmed with organic material (i.e. algae) even if the water appears to be fairly clear. You might want to post a full set of test results with your TF-100 or Taylor K-2006C test kit and/or do an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test to confirm. If you have any questions, let us know.

After thinking things through, I moved the pump to recirculate and boom tons of flow, so now I know the issue is in the sand. I am pretty sure when I set this up I added it to the max height. going to remove a little and see where it takes me.
