One of the unions at one end of the intellichlor is cracked and leaking badly. I received a new one, however I am unsure of the glue/epoxy that is needed to bond this resin fitting to the section of pvc pipe.

Unfortunately while very informative, I am looking for a specific statement on what is effective for bonding the resin union to a section of 2 inch PVC.

Normal PVC cement. That is what mine was installed with.

The IC40 fitting use the same PVC glue that all the rest of the plumbing was installed with.
