Sorry about the blurred image. I never replaced the thermistor, installer must have installed an older (used) IC40. Thats frustrating! I do doubt that as many pools as they install that they would provide a 3 year old IC40.
I pull the chlorinator out every winter and inspect the plates, replace with a spool piece, and use liquid chlorine. We have very soft water in SC and I keep water balanced year around. Plates are good and silver. I would like to save it.
Allen has posted this, "The 3 wire flow switch can be used on older 4 wire cells. The 4 wire flow switch cannot be used on the new cells manufactured after September 2018." but not sure where he got it.. Calling @ajw22
