This website is fantastic! I have gotten so much valuable information - Was curious is this is typical for flagstone pool coping? The two shorter ones in the middle vs having the shorter ones in the corners?

That's generally how tiles and stones are laid, unless you had a wall to put a cut piece up against. Full stones should be in the corners as your's are so they interconnect and look better.
Thank you for your response, I don't know a lot about masonry so I wasn't sure if this is typical. I like knowing this is how it should have been done. My son was surprised I even noticed it, he thought I was being "extra."
