Looks fine to me. The people enjoying your pool will not be measuring the coping placement.

That's generally how tiles and stones are laid, unless you had a wall to put a cut piece up against. Full stones should be in the corners as your's are so they interconnect and look better.
Thank you for your response, I don't know a lot about masonry so I wasn't sure if this is typical. I like knowing this is how it should have been done. My son was surprised I even noticed it, he thought I was being "extra."
