I have an old style pool light - 500w, 120volt.

I would like to change it to LED.
The light is made by American Products, and the receptacle can is ~ 9 1/2 W x 8 3/4.Deep
The current one is controlled by a remote system that uses the 120v AC house wiring to carry the signal. The controller is in the power box.
I would prefer a remote control, as I have no automation.
photos attached.
Bulb R-40; series 7885xx, 7845xx,7895xx.

I just went with a white LED bulb (120v) and a smart switch. It just required screwing in a new light bulb and changing out one light switch. I can now control my pool lights by voice (Alexa) or from my iPhone.

I’m using the white LED bulb. It’s much brighter and just off and on. I wasn’t looking for a color show, just a pool light.
