I don't know if you have 1.5" or 2" pipe, looks like 1.5", but you could cut it off on the left side right at the 3 way valve and use one of these.![]()
The left side glues inside the pipe, and the right side is the same size as the regular pipe so you can put a coupling on it then go with regular pipe to tie back into the line that comes down to the 90 before the chlorinator.

I would bump it up a little and KNOW you will need to run a full set of tests when the fun day is over. Make sure you have bleach at the ready as I am sure you will need some.
Have fun!

I was talking about bumping your FC up a bit before the people get in.
Here is the CYA/FC chart. What I do is does my FC to the top end at night. I have found that it tends to end just at the lower end of my range at the end of the day.
Until you get your filter up and running I would shoot for just over your range in the chart and stir it in using a straw broom all around the pool.

All is still going well and feel like I'm in control - however I do have one quick question...
Should I run the filter 24/7? Curious what the pros and cons off running 24/7 vs only running during the day. Obviously, we would conserve a little bit of energy. Are there any other benefits? Is it good to give the equipment a break from time to time? I'm getting different results when searching. Thanks!
