Newbie from Indiana. 18ft intex pool given to us by Father-in-law for the kiddos. Set up two days ago. Looks like an old pond. Will need much help. Looking forward to any and all advice. Have been looking around forum and already getting a feel for this pool stuff.

I see that you list well water in your signature.
Did your pool start looking brown, (swampy) after you put chlorine into it?
If the answer is yes, you probably have iron in your fill water.

It was already turning that color while filling. Now just trying to filter all the iron out but not having much success
