How long would it take for my "already dissolved borax" to thoroughly mix in my pool? Trying to increase my pH a bit.

How long would it take for my "already dissolved borax" to thoroughly mix in my pool? My pH is low, so I'm trying to gradually increase it a bit. Does it all depend on my filter or size of my pool? I'm just trying to get a field of how long it would take to mix anything thoroughly in my pool (Chlorine, Acid, Dissolved Borax, etc). I probably knew the answer to this question a while back, but I can't remember.

I just did this over the weekend. (raising ph).

Mix it with a bucket of water, slowly pour into your deep end return jet with the pump running.
You can test a new ph reading after 30 minutes of pump runtime.

30 minutes to an hour (for much bigger pools) is all you really need.

Except for CYA. When I dissolve from a sock at the return jet, I can get
an accurate reading about 2 hours after the last of the cya is dissolved.
Also just for the CYA test, make sure the water is at least 75 or more degrees. colder
water than that will give a false cya reading.
